reasons as well: - they *make* me take a look at things when I change the oil, instead of just changing the oil in a rush. Since I did the COP conversion, it takes me that much extra longer. You'd be surprised the things you can spot with the extra minute or two of looking around while you're unbolting a coil pack (loose clamp, hose starting to run on something, etc). - I can check the plugs for any signs of something wrong. I made my own WBO2 sensor, so the first few plug changes were to visually see if the readings "matched" what the plugs were saying. I also pull the setup off the car from time to time to redo bits of it, so seeing the plugs that often reassures me that nothing is wrong while I have no WBO2 working at the time...that might be my 2-stroke background though, where you really only have the plugs to go by.
